• Research Projects

Technocrats Institute of Technology-Pharmacy, has been continously motivating the faculty and students to pursue active research under the leadership of Dr. A. Balasubramaniam. The areas of research that are being taken up include Targeted Drug Delivery, Designing of newer drug molecules, Isolation of active constituents from herbs, Development of analytical methods for identification of synthetic and herbal drug molecules.

    Government Funded Research Project

Few research projects funded by Government agencies are also being carried out at the institute.

    1. Research project titled “Synthesis, characterization and evaluation of antimalarial and antileishmanial activity of some sydnone based chalcones” funded by Madhya Pradesh Council for Science and Technology (MPCOST) has been successfully completed with Dr. A. Balasubramaniam as the principal investyigator and MRs. Richa Mishra as the co-investigator.

    2. A MODROBS project granted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) titled “Hepatoprotective and antitumor activity of herbs used by tribals of Jhabua district” has been successfully completed by Dr. A. Balasubramaniam and Mr. Prithwish Nandi.
