Alcohol Detection Alert

This project is designed and developed by final year Mechanical Engineering students for efficient checking of alcohol consumed by the drivers. Government may enforce laws to install such circuit in every automobile, so that casualties due to drunken driving can be brought to a minimum level.

E-Gokart

Mechanical Engineering students have designed and developed E-Gokart. E-Gokart is being widely used as platform to develop Formula-1 racing cars, has enabled the students to learn various dimensions of the emerging electric vehicle market like: design optimization, commercial aspects of material procurement, quality assurance and ergonomics.

Model for Smart City

Civil Engineering students have designed and developed a model of city in which they used various methods to make city smart and efficient. They used solar panels and wind mills for electricity generation, garbage treatment plant, water and sewage treatment plant, automated vehicle parking facility and applications of IoT for overall automation and management.

Matching Game

Computer Science and Engineering students designed and developed Tile matching game, is a playing app. The core challenge of tile matching game is the identification of patterns on a seemingly chaotic board. The game covers a wide range of design elements, mechanics and game play experiences.

Flight Simulator

Computer Science and Engineering students designed and developed a centralized, graphical flight simulator. The simulator contains a framework that can be used while creating graphic controller, using time honored techniques that work well in most of the situations. Some of the limitations of this framework have also been analyzed for future modifications.

Counter Flow Heat Exchanger with various Helical Tape Inserts

M. Tech (HPTE) students designed and developed the Heat Exchanger as a part of their dissertation work under the guidance of faculties of Mechanical Engineering Department. The experimental setup is being used to analyze the rate of heat transfer under varying flow conditions generated by inserting helical tapes of varying cross-sections and pattern.
