    • About Department

      The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established with an intake of 60 students which has now increased to 120. The strength of the department are faculties who are proactive in seeking and acquiring knowledge for imparting it to students. Aptitude is developed for self study through use of web resources and data banks to foster life long learning. Educational tours and industry visits are regularly arranged for students to give them practical exposure.

      Students are encouraged to go for industrial trainings and paper presentations and participate in extra curricular activities to bring about over all development in students. This year, the department had organized a technical event Techno Arghya which attracted participants from many Engineering colleges in Bhopal. The annual cultural festival Yuvrang is the most fascinating eve

      To mould the students into competent technocrats to become professionally skilled, intellectually adept and socially responsible, to contribute to the society through quality teaching and providing the conducive learning environment

    • PEO1. Graduates will become established professional in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and related fields with sound ethical values.

      PEO2. Graduates will demonstrate all necessary engineering and scientific competence to become an entrepreneur in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and allied field considering social and environmental issues.

      PEO3. Graduates will posses solid foundation in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to be applied in their higher studies and research.

    • PSO 1: Graduates will show ability to analyze, design, and implement electrical machines, power electronics, instrumentation, control systems for power system.
      PSO 2: Graduates will show ability to apply appropriate techniques and modern engineering hardware and software tools in power systems and power electronics in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

      PSO 3: Graduates will show ability to comprehend technological advancements and the impact of electrical engineering solutions in societal and environmental context.

    • Department of Electronics and Commnication is well-equipped with state of the art and technically modern laboratories to provide a superior level of practical education to its students. The laboratories are specifically designed with excellent facilities to meet the requirements of A.I.C.T.E. and University. Advanced equipments and hardware/softwares are added to the laboratories each year thus keeping them updated.

        Electronic Circuit Lab :

      This lab is performed for 2nd year student of EC,CS & IT. Experiments like Inverting, Non inverting OP-Amp, Class A,B,C,AB amplifiers, clipper/clamping multi vibrator, transistor characteristics are performed to the bridge the gap between knowledge and its true application.

      Digital Electronics circuits lab :

      This lab is performed for 2nd year Students of EC, CS, Various experiments on logic gates MUX/ DEMUX, Adder/ Subtracter, Flip-flops, A/D converter enhance the designing capability of students.The error detaction and correction in communication transerecver are studied.

       
        Electronics Devices and Circuits Lab

      This Lab includes Electronics Circuit, Electronics Devices and Design Laboratory. This Lab consists of all types of measuring instruments and cathode ray oscilloscope, Power Supply, Multimeters, function generators and various types of Experiment Kits. This Laboratory is specially designed to enhance the capabilities of the students for designing basic analog circuits like oscillators, multivibrators, amplifiers, drivers etc.

      Project Lab

      This Laboratory comprises of designing and Simulation Software, PROTO- ETCH Etching machine, PCB Drilling machine, PCB Sheering Machine, IC tester, different types of Analog and Digital ICs and various electronic components to implement student’s ideas. This Laboratory can also support many experiments and new ideas which are evolved in the mind of students. Student learns all aspects of Design, implementation, fabrication and simulation of engineering. This has been found to give immense practical utility to the students in their future career.

       
    • Electronics and Communication Engineering course give enormous job opportunities in electronics and software companies. All electronic devices need software interface to run and tointerface with other device. The Electronics and Communication Engineering involves subjects related with design, analysis & application of electronics & communication circuits. It also gives great opportunities for research and development, as everyday consumer need new devices to support them in daily life.
